Eamon is out of surgery and in the ICU. They were able to do the surgery laproscopicly - thank you, Lord! Apparently, the Dr. had a bit of trouble, Eamon had a lot of air in his intestines and stomach which made it difficult to see clearly, but persisted and was successful. The muscle biopsy was able to come from his abdomen rather than making another incision in the leg. And, our boy has a new g-tube for feedings! He did quite well, and the day progressed as planned. Peace certainly reigned in our hearts today, thank-you all!
However, Eamon needs prayer for the recovery process. He is still intubated, and is struggling with effectively coughing-up mucus and other oral secretions. There is lots of gaging and he looks quite uncomfortable. I think we are in for a long night. Please pray, we are hoping to be able to remove the breathing tube tomorrow! For now, MiMi has sung Eamon to sleep so I could update everyone.

Dear Heavenly Father we praise your Name. King of kings who cares so much for your children, thank you for bringing Eamon through this surgery! We knew he was in the hands of the Great Physician! We rejoice and give you all the Glory Father God for not only guiding the hands and the doctors today, but giving the peace that passes all understanding to those who love this little boy! Lord we pray in your name for the remainder of his stay here in the hospital. We pray that you would send your ministering angels to minister to his body. We pray for comfort and we pray that he would sleep peacefully and not suffer pain tonight! Lord you have done so many miraculous things in this young boy's life, we pray you continue, and may it all continue to bring you Glory! Lord bless Maeve and Miles tonight as they pray for their little brother. Thank you Lord for their pure hearts who totally know you are the Great I AM! You are Lord, you are everything and all that we need and we praise you for who you are! Lord minister now to Mom and Dad as they have been so obedient and so full of faith! Thank you Lord for giving them ears to hear your still small voice and stepping out in faith to follow you! Praise you Father for the journey that Eamon has allowed each of us to join him on, a journey full of great expectation of a great God, a journey in which our faith is being refined day by day! Praise God! Once again He steps up to the plate and Delivers! How awesome is our God! We now continue to watch our Heavenly father wrap Eamon in his loving arms to comfort him and heal him. Hats off to you Mom and Dad, Eamon is truly blessed by you all! Love you all! The Bushman Family
